The Zonal Coordinator of The Asiwaju Group (TAG) in the South-South region of Nigeria, Chief Reuben C. Wilson, has commenced the door-to-door and ward-to-ward consultations to drum up support for the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The development is coming barely 24 hours after the former Governor of Nasarawa State, H.E. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura promised to support TAG North-Central mobilisation of Women and Youths for Tinubu 2023 advocacy.
In attendance were only party chieftains, a few TAG leaders in the South-South and leadership of community associations.
Chief Wilson said, “We shall take the Asiwaju advocacy from house to house, ward by ward and organise a sensitisation programme on voters’ rights and power and why APC should remain relevant for continuity and consolidation and much more.
"The South-South is totally committed to bringing all their political arsenals to ensure APC emerges victorious in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The leadership of TAG would like to thank Chief Reuben C. Wilson for taking the advocacy up a notch.
