The Hon Commissioner for Livestock Development Mobilizes Okrikanwenkwo Youths for Hope Uzodimma's re-election
The re-election of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma gathered another momentum in Okrikanwenkwo Ward Ahiazu Mbaise LGA today, the 10th of September, 2023 as the Hon Commissioner for Livestock Development, Dr Tony Mgbeahuruike mobilized all the youths in the ward irrespective of party affiliation under his political structure known as Umuokrika Youths Grassroot Movement for the re-election of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The commissioner while addressing the youths, urged them to queue behind Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma as we match towards the November 11 governorship election.
The commissioner who took time to x-ray the different developmental strides of the government, advised the youths to vote Senator Hope Uzodimma for a second tenure so that the dividends of democracy will get to the people at the grassroots.
The commissioner promised the youths of his commitment to represent their ward and the youths of Umuokrika well in the state executive council and enjoined the youths to desist from any act that will bring them to bad light before the government.
The commissioner encouraged the youths to key into numerous government empowerment programs aimed at reducing the impact of fuel subsidy removal. He equally made them understand that the only way to sustain such programs is by voting in Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for a second term.
The youths who were excited with the commissioner's initiative and approach, promised to come out en mass and vote for the governor.
In their response, they thanked the commissioner for giving them the opportunity for the interactive session and for giving them information on what the governor has done so far for the state. They gave their full support to the governor for his re-election.
They equally made some request to His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State and the commissioner promised to take their message to the governor.
Present in the meeting were ward leaders of PDP, APC, LP, APGA and other political parties. The meeting attracted youths across party lines and they all pledged their support to the governor of Imo state.
