GOV. UZODIMMA TO REVOKE RAMP PROJECTS OVER COMPLACENCY BY CONTRACTORS Gov. Uzodimma has reiterated that the road construction going on in the state will not be restricted to the urban centers alone.

Responding to contributions by the people of Ehime Mbano local government at the ongoing local government stakeholders meeting, The Governor  disclosed that the  true intention  of the donor agencies involved in the RAMP  projects was to award them to  indigenous indigenes  contractors from the  various Local Governments and communities to build the roads with  the hope that they will do so with passion and can be held responsible, but the immediate past administration awarded the projects to outsiders and despite governments effort at paying the certificate presented by the contractors some have refused to go back to site.

Governor Hope Uzodimma assured the People and leaders of Ehime Mbano of moves to fast track the reconstruction of the rural roads, warning that any contractor who has refused to move to site and commence work,  will have their contracts  revoked.

The Governor commended Chief Tony Chukwu, one of the stakeholders from Ehime Mbano for attracting NDDC road projects and urged him to attract more for the good people of Ehime and other Local Governments.
