On Saturday July 24, 2021, I received an award on behalf of Imo State First lady, Barrister Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma. The award for Humanitarian Service of the year was given to Her Excellency by Arise Africa Network for the work Imo First Lady has done in reaching out to the less privileged and vulnerable persons in Imo State.
The First Lady is an advocate who has committed to serve various individuals, families, indigent and vulnerable people in Imo state communities, alleviating their plight. Through the Imo Ministry of Woman Affairs and Vulnerable Groups, and *GoodHope Foundation, the Imo First Lady* has reached several individuals and families privately insisting that her benevolence not be reported or published. She has indeed changed the face of the Ministry in promoting servitude and kindness.
Imo first lady also encourages partnership with other groups, departments or individuals, to work with the state, so we can as much as possible reach the least of our sisters and brothers. It was a privilege to have received this deserved award on behalf of Her Excellency, Barrister Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma.
