It was an emotion laden day as the body of Late Mr. Collins Amadi (Zigima) was laid to rest at his Ngor Okpala country home .
Zigima as he was popularly known was a committed party leader in Owerri Municipal , particularly in Aladinma ward 1 . A dogged mobilizer and Shared prosperity apostle , he brought many people into the All progressive congress mainly because of his charismatic lifestyle which will surely be missed .
Speaking after Late Mr Amadi's interment, the APC Chairman of Owerri Municipal , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim described the Ex- iwuanyanwu national and team super eagles player , as one who showed commitment in projecting the right political ideals into people he came across. He added , that as an ex-national footballer , he has used his contacts to push young soccer talents abroad as his passion for footballing success was second to none.
Hon. Onyekachi said that as a committed party leader and strong supporter of Dist.Sen. Hope Uzodinma , the late Zigima will surely be missed as his passion to ensure the survival of the Government of the day is unparalleled.
The party Chairman prayed for the family of the Late Zigima , soliciting that they take solace in the resurrection message of Jesus Christ .
