FORGERY ALLEGATION AGAINST ANDY UBA DOES NOT HOLD WATER- AUCC

The attention of the Andy Uba Campaign Council (AUCC), has been drawn to a report in a Sun News Online, of a suit currently at a Federal High Court, Abuja, asking it to disqualify the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State, Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba, over what the plaintiff claimed as alleged forgery.

In addition, the court is asked to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to drop his name from the list of eligible candidates for the polls and to also bar his political platform (APC) from fielding any other candidate for the election as his replacement, in the event of his disqualification.

May we assure Anambra people and the entire Nigerians  who have their eyes fixed keenly on November 6 not to worry that Distinguish Senator Andy Uba will be elected the executive Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) will make history in Anambra state.

As we speak right now, we are yet to see copies of the said suit and we can assure that the legal team of Sen. Andy Uba and the APC are on the matter.

As we have always stated in our several campaigns that the life of Sen. Andy Uba is an open book, plain for all to see and devoid of any ambiguity as it is being made out in the said suit.

While we cannot comment on the merit or demerit of the case as it is, because it has  already been filed in court as the writer claimed, may we also alert the public that we are aware of plots by some interests groups to stop the party from contesting the Governorship election in November.

More or less, the public should not be surprised to see efforts by some people with interests to have APC disqualified because they Can't stand talk more of competing with the Party during the Gubernatorial election.

If they are hoping to score a disqualification goal with the said suit in Abuja, they must be ready for a shocker because Sen. Andy Uba and the party will mount a robust defence.

We are ready and capable.
