Chairman of the Governing Board of ISOPADEC, HRH Eze (Prof.) Dele Odigbo has lauded the many groundbreaking achievements recorded by the Commission over the past one year, ascribing them to the bond of union between the Board Members and the Managing Director.
Eze Odigbo said this today at Golden Tulip Hotel, Owerri in a simple occasion organized for the Board and Management staff of ISOPADEC in commemoration of the one year in office of the Commission's Governing Board.
He revealed that the existing unity they enjoy has exceeded all expectations, and praised the Managing Director for being fair and transparent in his dealings.
The Chairman expressed optimism that the emulable conduct and laudable achievements recorded by the current Board has engaged the attention and met the approval of Governor Hope Uzodimma, and enthused that the glory of their second year in office will be even greater than the first's.
In his remarks, the Managing Director of ISOPADEC Chief Charles Orie thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for giving them a platform to serve, and for releasing ISOPADEC's monthly FAAC allocation as and when due, stating that the Commission under him has completed 13 landmark projects, with 38 more projects at various stages of execution, while expressing optimism that they would be completed and commissioned before the end of the current year, 2021.
Chief Orie commended members of ISOPADEC Board for their maturity and sense of industry, and averred that whatever achievements they have recorded during the first year in office would pale into insignificance by the time the second year has gone halfway.
Speaking as a guest at the occasion, Hon. Gideon Meffor, himself a former Board Member of ISOPADEC lauded the Managing Director for leveraging his significant reach and networks to change the narrative in ISOPADEC.
Hon. Meffor an influential stakeholder in the oil business described the feat recorded by ISOPADEC in just one year, especially in the area of award of projects, as unprecedented. He therefore enjoined the people of the ISOPADEC host communities to support the managers of the Commission.
In a vote of thanks, the Head of Legal Services and Secretary to the Board of ISOPADEC Barr. Mrs. Chinaka Sunday-Iheruo thanked the Board Members for inviting the Management Staff to the celebration of their one year in office, hinting that the gesture alone underlines the existence of a harmonious working relationship between the Board and Management team of ISOPADEC.
While commending the members of the Board for their superlative performance in office, Barr. Iheruo prayed for God's continued guidance to keep the Board on a straight path so that the current momentum is sustained.
