The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Ikeduru , High Chief Tony Jude Iwuamadi, has revealed that the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Okigwe - Owerri and inroads in the LGA sponsored by His Excellency the Governor and LGA management has commenced earnestly.
High Chief Tony Jude stated this at an inspection tour he carried out recently at the various construction areas. He maintained that he is not ignorant of the critical state of the two roads and it's economic value to the people of the area.
Continuing, the IMC leader stressed that the Governor started the work even during the rains and expressed his gratitude to him for keeping to his campaign promise(s) to Ikeduru people.
The IMC Chairman hinted that the various roads remains a veritable and strategic bypass which measures kilometer and cannot be abandoned.
In his words: "I want to particularly appeal to residents to support the government of APC led by His Excellency, Distnd. Sen. Hope Uzodimma that it is not the making of any Government to see her citizens suffer due to bad roads, but I can assure you people now, that your groans are over and your prayers are answered and certainly, in the coming days, with the earth moving equipments deployed the roads will be very motorable.
