South East Peace and Security: South East Governors and leaders met in Enugu yesterday, take landmark and strategic decisions

 

Imo Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, represented Imo State Governor, the most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma. 

Key decisions;

1. Enforcement of ban on open grazing.

2. Sets up South East Peace and reconciliation committee to unite all Igbos while ensuring peace in the south east for everyone.

3. Sets up strategy and welfare committee to engage and protect our people, especially those who have been unfairly treated

4.  Supports restructuring in Nigeria and the setting up of state police 

5. Condemns attack on the home of Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, asks federal government to fish out and prosecute the perpetrators.
