Today 19 may 2021, the special adviser to the Executive Governor of Imo State on women mobilization, Chief Mrs Josephine Nnoaham paid visit to Owerri West Local government headquarter to inaugurate chapter women executives.
Chief Mrs Josephine Nnoaham wasn't pleased with the turn out of women in today's inauguration , and emphasized that Mobilization starts from the grassroot. She charged women of owerri west to continue to support the shared prosperity government of Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma. Madam sososo as popularly known highlighted the achievements of HE Sent. Hope Uzodimma in the area of road construction, salary automation etc.
Furthermore, the SA thanked the apex leader of owerri west Hon. Gibson (OYIGA) for his leadership qualities shown to the people of owerri west.
Responding, the IMC chairman apologized for the low turn is based on poor channel of communication. The IMC chairman hinted that owerri west are great supporters of APC and HE Hope Uzodimma as all passed vote of confidence to Sen. Hope Uzodimma.
Hon. Gibson (Oyiga) thanked the SA for the visit. He used the opportunity to caution politics of segregation; highlighting that the party is big enough to accommodate all. Oyiga in his speech said " I don't believe in party rather believe in human beings." Meaning that the party can't exist without human beings. He charged the leaders and stake holder to mobilize for our great party APC and for HE Hope Uzodimma.
Highlight of the visit of the SA women mobilization was the inauguration of chapter women and cash donation of N20,000 for their transportation.
The party chairman of owerri west in his closing remark thanked the SA and the stake holders in finding him worthy to pilot owerri west APC. He promised to work with the stake holders so as to mobilze for HE Hope Uzodimma.
