There were shouts of joy and jubilation as the party executives and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from local government to ward level welcome APC top contender for the gubernatorial party ticket, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, as his campaign team began local government tour, and familiarization visits ahead of the party's primary election coming up on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
In Idemili South, where they first arrived, the great party man, Chief Dr. George Moghalu thanked the party officers for the massive turnout and show of love.
According to him, the party officers in both Local government and ward level are very strategic to the victory of the party in this 2021 gubernatorial election, hence their is need for him to come and interact with his fellow members who have stood with the party all these years.
He reminded them that this is the season that politicians make empty promises, and they should resist every attempt to be tele-guided, as the era of cash and carry politics is over, he advised them to vote their conscience for APC to produce the next governor in this State.
The APC Chairman in Idemili South welcomed the NIWA boss, and said that Chief Dr. George Moghalu has already been rated across party lines as the most outstanding and experienced candidate among other aspirants in APC, and a vote for Ohamadike represents a big hope for APC winning the main election. He equally noted that he is psychologically and intellectually prepared to harness and galvanize the dreams of Ndi Anambra for a better State.
In Idemili North, Chief Dr. George Moghalu expressed his satisfaction with the party leadership at the Local Government and ward level saying despite the short notice, they still made themselves available.
Chief Dr. George Moghalu stated that he was in Idemili North to seek their partnership, and also see those that will have access to government house with him, ahead of party primary which is coming up on Saturday, June 26 2021.
He reminded them that Saturday is not the main election but a day to chose a candidate that will represent the party on November 6 election, and any mistake now can back fire.
He also noted that this year's governorship election will be the most competitive one because every political party is coming out with their best and APC must not take chances of not presenting their best .
Chief Dr. George Moghalu who is also the Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) detailed his experience in both public and private sectors which shows that he has all it takes to win the election for the APC.
The party's local government Chairman, Lancy Okafor thanked the NIWA boss for coming, and extolled his capacity, character, ability , knowledge and experience to deliver, and prayed by the special grace of God, Idemili North will give him total support.
*In Njikoka Local Government, it is more like a home coming, as party faithfuls and supporters came out with chant of songs and music to welcome Ohamadike to their Local Government*.
The governorship hopeful, Chief Dr. George Moghalu who was amazed with the show of love he received, said, "Njikoka is my second home and I will not disappoint APC Members".
He thanked them for always standing with him and appealed to them to do more in this coming primary election.
The APC chairman of Njikoka, Hon. Chukwudi Okoye who praised Ohamadike and assured him of their strong commitment, he avered that Njikoka is totally for Ohamadike and for Ohamadike alone.
*As his campaign team lands in Dunukofia, the humble and respecter of consitiuted Authority, Chief Dr. George Moghalu paid homage to the Royal Palace of Ukpo kingdom, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, the Igwe, Dr. Robert Eze (Okofia VI) and received royal blessings from the royal father before proceeding to venue of the campaign.*
Chief Dr. George Moghalu who was overwhelmingly welcomed in Dunukofia by the party faithfuls said that he was here today to seek their partnership and support ahead of the primary elections.
The APC chairman of the LGA, Hon. CY Anosike said he is well convinced that with Ohamadike, victory is assured for APC in the main election, looking at his experience and track records in private and public service. He finally assured Chief Dr. George Moghalu of Dunukofia's total support and partnership.

According to him, the party leadership at the local level is strategic to the victory of the party in the 2021 gubernatorial election, hence the need for them to know the individual track record and vision of aspirants in the party to enable them critically examine each candidates, and vote based on convictions.
He said that through the experience he has garnered over the years at both public and private sectors is a big plus for him to generate the concensus of political elite across party line which will play a key role in winning the November 6 governorship election.
The governorship hopeful appealed to party faithfuls in the L.G.A to vote for him in the best interest of the party, urging them that a vote for him will rekindle the hope that there is a reward for loyalty.
In their reactions, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anaocha and Awka South LGA praised and commended him for the visit, acknowledged that he has the capacity and competence to emerge the candidate of the party.
