 Owerri North leaders eulogized Uzodinma for his ground breaking accomplishments in Owerri federal Constituency

 

They made the call on Friday 16th July, 2021 during an interactive session with APC stakeholders in Owerri north LGA at the council headquarters. In his remarks, the apex leader of the party in Owerri zone expressed his displeasure over selfish attitude among the councilors who has adopted a winner takes all attitude instead of making little sacrifice to promote activities of the party in their various wards. He reminded them that the position they're occupying is in trust on behalf of others stakeholders who worked very hard towards the victory of Senator Hope Uzodinma at the polls.

He praised the accomplishments of Uzodinma's administration in Owerri north, Owerri federal Constituency and Owerri zone in general and urged all and sundry to make concerted effort to win the hearts and minds of people of Owerri North for APC.

Hon. Chief Barrister Tony Umezuruike, former commissioner of water resources stated without any contradiction that the party structure is one, under the leadership of Senator Hope Uzodinma where directives flows to the grassroot. In his speech, Engr. Lams Ibe IMC Chairman Owerri North LGA said the duty of embracing new members into the party is the responsibility of all stakeholders. He promised to work with the LGA party chairman to move the party forward.

Professor Henry Njoku, the chief technical adviser to the Governor in his remarks, praised the unity of purpose among the party leaders, the leaders he said will bring their wealth of experience in charting the way forward for the party. He urged party Chairmen and councilors to build unity and trust among the followers.

Speaking the former Senatorial candidate Chief Mike Nwachukwu expressed unflinching confidence and trust in the leadership of the party in Owerri north and Owerri zone in general. Speaking in the same vain, former TC Chairman of Owerri North Hon. Austin Achilike called for unity of purpose among Chairmen and councilors to energize the base for maximum results during the election.

The meeting which recorded a huge turnout of leaders created a convivial atmosphere for cross ideas, information sharing and self assessment moving forward.
