In a bid to strategize and mobilize to maintain APC as truly the leading Political Party in the Area, the Chairman of APC in Ikeduru LGA Hon. Remy Onyewuchi, organized for an LGA Expanded EXCO meeting held at St Cyprian Exclusive Hall in Eziama Ikeduru.
In his welcome address, Hon. Remy Onyewuchi while addressing Party EXCOs, charged them to strategize on how to popularise the Party in the LGA.
He enjoined them to embark on Ward Tour and as well, pay visits to aggrieved party members.
He urged all party officials to commit their time religiously to the affairs and be loyal to the leadership.
Also Chief Obinna Nsihirim, fmr 2-time Commissioner and LGA Chairman, utilized the opportunity to thank Governor Uzodimma for his determination towards restoring Development Centres in Imo State, and embarking on rural road projects.
He appreciated the Prince of Ikeduru and Operational leader of the party for showing true leadership in the affairs of the party and pledged total support to his style of leading.
While speaking to his EXCO members, the host and Operational leader of the Party in Owerri and Ikeduru, Prince Charls Amadi (Charlvon) fervently spurred EXCO members to double their efforts in working to ensure that APC remains the most popular Political Party in Ikeduru, IMO State, Nigeria and world over.
He admonished EXCO members to be proud of APC as they work for the Party and to ensure that APC slogan (Everywhere You Go) is practical in Ikeduru LGA.
Charlvon encouraged EXCO members to go back to their various Wards and Units to identify with their leaders.
He plainly told them to work with their leaders in various Wards, because with the support of their leaders, they will win all elections on hitch free grounds.
The Operational leader further emphasized that APC Party is now one political entity and there shouldn't be anything like Camp again, expressing that he will not tolerate any act of sentiment in the Party again as he has met with the leader of the party in LGA, the Deputy Governor who approved the meeting to take this critical positions.
Finally he highlighted that the Governor is doing much to reposition the State and therefore EXCO members should use his works to campaign for 2023 and 2024 elections in Imo State.
The Ikeduru IMC Chairman, High Chief Tony Jude Iwuamadi. vibrantly and eloquently charged LGA and Ward EXCOs to believe and be confident that APC will win every election henceforth.
He said that, the challenges Imo State is currently facing is man-made and therefore it is surmountable.
He inspired EXCOs to go home and spread the good news of Hope Uzodimma, as the only language he speaks and hears is Hope adding that they should as well, work in unity as EXCOs by trusting each other.
Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi Who walked into the meeting amidst great ovation pointed out that time has gone when politics was a game of charlatans.
He expressed the fact that politics of these days has to do with planning and strategies, and that is the reason the Party chose serious minded individuals as their EXCOs.
He also used the opportunity to enumerate the various ongoing road projects attracted by himself from the government in ikeduru and pledged to do more.
He concluded by telling the crowd to be focus on how to build the Party and make it greater.
At the end of the meeting, Very Rev. Dr. CNN Nwanebu (SA to the Governor on all religious affairs) gave the vote of thanks and final blessings.
