National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Dr. Betta Edu yesterday conveyed an interactive brainstorming session with some female stakeholders in APC as a build-up to the 2023 general Election.
In a report by her Special Adviser on Political matters, Seun Bosede Osamaye, the session which was held at the national secretariat of the APC with the National Deputy Woman Leader Hagyia Zainab Ibrahim and others was primarily to discuss and implement strategies to effectively integrate women into the structures of the party in all the States of the federation and align plans for the campaign which begins next month.
In her statement, participants were invited in recognition of their contributions to the promotion of women and the development of the party, especially in their respective states.
She stressed further that women must be alive to their roles of mobilizing women and getting the required votes to ensure the success of the party in the 2023 presidential election.
"We must realize that the bulk of our work is at the grassroots and must be able to respond to responsibilities at the shortest possible time," she said. The next elections will be decided by women. She encouraged them to go all out and do their best
