IMO STATE PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT: IMO STATE GOVERNMENT TRAINS SUPERVISORS OF SCHOOLS

 


With the determination to improve productivity and imbibe modern education skills and trends in the primary school system, the Governor Hope Uzodimma led administration through the Imo State Universal Basic Education Board ( IMSUBEB) has embarked on a five day training program for School Support Officers formerly called School Supervisors.

The Supervisors drawn from the 27 local government areas plus headquarters staff of IMSUBEB are currently receiving training in Owerri.


The training is aimed at equiping them with best practices of modern teaching and learning methods in order to achieve effectiveness and to align with global trends and standards.


The acting Chairman of IMSUBEB, thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for approving and supporting the training program meant to improve basic education

in the state. She advised the trainees to utilize the opportunity  to gain the tools of modern teaching and inculcate the knowledge on other teachers for the sake of growth of their pupils.


One of the trainees, Mr. Ndubuisi Ugorji disclosed that the workshop is a step in the right direction, stating that the training will reinforce them to do more in the positive discharge of their duties to teachers and pupils.
